After a short halt for two days, portside price for RB2 grade coal has moved south and is assessed at INR 5,800/t (exclusive of cess and GST) ex-Gangavaram. Few deals were concluded today at this price, which is down by INR 200/t against the price assessed on Monday. Buyers are however showing interest in procuring RB2 coal at INR 5,600-5,700/t amid softened demand and fall in API4 index and sponge iron prices.
