Tshipi, a major manganese ore miner has increased the prices for march shipments. The latest offers for Mn36.5% South African semicarbonate nugget $4.85/ dmtu, up by $0.23 from the previous month. Meanwhile, UMK also increased their offer prices for April shipments by $0.65/dmtu to $4.7/dmtu for Mn36% South African block. This increase can be attributed to the restricted supply and firm silicomanganese prices in China.
