Structure offers in Northern & Central India declined slightly. While, Mumbai’s rates are firm.
Ghaziabad & Raipur Structure prices decreased by INR 200/MT owing to falling Ingot offers. Because of dull buying, participants are not expecting any price improvement in near future.
“At present, Structure demand is not decent but better from February”, stated a local trader based at Ghaziabad.
On the other side in Mumbai, Structure offers remain unchanged.
Limited semi finish production and increased Scrap prices might result in price hike of Structure at Mumbai.
A native manufacturer of Mumbai mentioned, “For light structural items, buying was quite decent in last week and if demand will stay on the same level then prices might increase further.”
An Ahmedabad based manufacturer said that there is low buying for finish steel in the market. Because of that Structure offers fall by INR 200/MT. Meanwhile, it is not expected to improve much as the Lok Sabha Elections are ahead.
