In a confirmed deal, three rakes South African RB2 coal (5500 kcal/kg NAR) has been sold at INR 6,050/t ex-Paradip (exclusive of cess and GST) as offer prices remain firm at Gangavaram port. However, due to the Pongal festival holidays demand at Gangavaram port remains muted towards the week’s end. Whereas, API4 index which saw an increase of $3/t w-o-w have settled at $92.2/t.
