Secondary rebar prices fell by upto INR 700/t in the central region (Raigarh) due to limited trade activities while in the rest of the major markets, prices dropped marginally by INR 100-200/t. SteelMint learned from trade participants that due to Makar Sankranti festival, major supplying markets like Chennai and Ahmedabad remained close which impacted the flow of trades in nearby surrounding locations.
