Spot iron ore fines price falls as demand eases

Iron ore spot price yesterday saw a slight fall of $0.25 amid expectations of lower steel production in Northern China. Price for Fe 62% fines dropped to $171.10/t CFR China. Sentiments for winter iron ore demand dipped after the notice of production controls in Hebei province was released over the weekend due to poor environmental conditions.
