Gujarat based Mono Steel India Ltd (Mono TMT Fe 500) has lowered its rebar offer by INR 400/t to INR 48,750/t (12 mm) FoR Ahmedabad (excluding GST). Reasons behind price correction are – limited future bookings, correction in billet prices, improved supply movement due to resumption of its steel plant which was on scheduled maintenance for over 10 days during 21st Dec to 31st Dec’20, sources told to SteelMint. Mono Steel has a rolling capacity of 0.22 mn t pa.
