SAIL today conducted an auction for 7,100 t pig iron from its Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP). Entire quantity put in the auction got booked at INR 35,100/t exw, lower by INR 550/t compared to the previous auction. The last auction conducted on 02 Jan for 4,800 t pig iron fetched bids at INR 35,650/t exw.
