Indian chrome ore miner, OMC increased base price by a hefty 16.42% m-o-m for the upcoming auction on 11th Jan ’21. The increase can be attributed to the continuously increasing ferrochrome prices as exports inquiries increases from China. The upcoming auction is expected to receive aggressive bidding and could have a cascading effect on the ferrochrome prices.
