Steel Authority of India (SAIL), India's largest steel maker in terms of quantity has invited sealed quotations from Indian and Global suppliers for supply of 9,200 tons of Ferro Silicon (Silicon content Min 70%) for its various steel plant, to be supplied in 4 months time (August to November 2013).Last date of submission of bids is 27th June 2013.
Currently Ferro silicon prices in Indian domestic market are hovering around Rs 66,000/t (Ex works Guwahati) and Ex Bhutan at around Rs 66,000/t.
