Today billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) rebounded by RMB 70 ($11), against 31 Dec ’20. However, the billet transactions were weak, while finished steel reported having mixed sentiments. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,810/t ($589/t) in Tangshan, including 13 % VAT.
