India: NMDC’s iron ore rake movement from Chhattisgarh mines up 4% in Dec’20

NMDC (Chhattisgarh) has supplied a total of 433 rakes (1.67 mn t) of iron ore in the month of Dec’20, as against 418 rakes (1.61 mn t) in Nov’20, according to railway movement data maintained with SteelMint. The movement to state-based steel units has moved up 6% to 82 rakes (0.32 mn t). However, the movement for exports has fallen by 23% to 54 rakes in Dec’20.
