Godawari Power & Ispat Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the state government of Chhattisgarh to set up steel plants in Raipur and Bastar region. These plants include a steel plant, a rolling mill, sponge iron, pig iron & ferro plant. The total cost of projects is estimated at INR 2,300 cr. Both the projects will be implemented in phased manner and the investment will be spread for 4 to 5 years.
