Indian sponge iron export offers remain unchanged in recent deal

SteelMint’s benchmark sponge iron export price assessment remained stable this week, in recent deals. Total 5,000 t deals have been concluded to Bangladesh at $400-405/t CPT Benapole (equivalent to $415-420/t CFR Chittagong). Amidst volatility in domestic sponge iron offers and constant surge in global scrap prices, the Indian sponge iron export demand remained active and healthy deals were reported in the last 2-3 weeks.
