State-owned steel-maker Vizag Steel’s pig iron auction for 3,000 t (basic grade material) on 29 Dec’20 fetched a price of INR 35,400 /t exw. Bids increased by INR 1,800/t ($24) compared to the previous auction conducted in mid-Dec’20 in which the bid price was around INR 33,600/t.
