Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today from its Rajhara mines in Chhattisgarh for fines (Fe 60.37%) for 28,000 t. The auction received bids at INR 3,890/t (loaded into rakes and including royalty). The base price was set at INR 3,880/t. Bids have dropped against last auction bids at INR 4,320/t. However, in another auction conducted today from Dalli mines for 28,000 t iron ore, entire lot remained unsold.
