Today, the billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) witnessed a further drop of RMB 10 ($1.5) against yesterday. The billet transactions were moderate, while finished steel prices dropped further. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,770/t ($577/t) in Tangshan, including 13 % VAT.
