Vizag Steel has increased finished long steel prices further by up to INR 1,000/t ($14), effective from today, sources have reported to SteelMint. Wire rod prices have been raised by INR 500/t & rebar by INR 1,000/t. The current rebar (12 mm) offer stands at around INR 51,800-52,000/t ex-Chennai, excluding GST. The company’s output of long steel products stood at 2.16 mn t in Jan-Nov ’20.
