India’s SAIL to auction IU rails from Bhilai Steel Plant for the first time

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) is going to conduct an auction for 15,000 t (52 & 60 kg-full length) commercial rail from its Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh. The auction is scheduled on 30 Dec ’20. This is the first time when BSP is auctioning this material. Previously, BSO-Bhilai was the selling authority of this product. In the previous auction conducted on 23 Dec ’20, 60kg defective rails were booked at 31,400/t exw.
