AM/NS India has announced the fourth hike by around INR 1,500/t in HRC and INR 3,000/t in CRC with effect from 22 Dec ’20. The revised prices stand at around INR 51,650/t for HRC and INR 62,250/t for CRC. Prices are on exy-Mumbai basis, excluding GST. Higher raw material costs, continual surge in global prices, and improved demand from consumer durable and auto sectors are major reasons contributing to the domestic price hike.
