Indian government-owned SAIL has scheduled three auctions for a total of 12,300 t pig iron. The first auction is to be held on 23 Dec ’20 for 5,700 t from Bokaro Steel Plant, the second auction is to be conducted from Rourkela Steel Plant for 5,600 t and lastly, from Durgapur Steel Plant for 1,000 t. The auction from Rourkela and Durgapur are scheduled on 24 Dec ’20. Previous auction from BSL was concluded at INR 33, 000/t exw, auction from DSP received bids at INR 33,650/t exw and auction from RSP closed at INR 32,600/t exw.
