Vale in its recent press release notified that a landslide at the Corrego do Feijao mine took life of an employee, who was carrying out maintenance activity. The on-site maintenance activities will be suspended for further studies and assessments of safety conditions. Iron ore futures have increased today after the news of the landslide.
