India: SAIL increases wire rod & structure price by INR 500-750/t ($7-10)

Indian government owned – SAIL has increased wire rod and structure price by INR 500/t and INR 750/t, respectively, sources reported to SteelMint. The current offer for wire rod SAE1008, size – 5.5 mm stands around INR 50,700-50,800/t and structural steel (50/6 Angle) price at INR 46,400-46,500/t exy-Mumbai, excluding GST.
