Vizag Steel has increased rebar list prices further upto INR 1,500/t ($20) effective today, sources have reported SteelMint. Prices have been raised by INR 500-1,500/t which varies for different sizes. The current rebar (12 mm) offer stands at around INR 50,600-50,800/t ex-Chennai, excluding GST. The offers have increased by INR 7,000-7,500/t in total since the beginning of Dec ’20. The company’s output of long steel products stood at 1.88 mn t in Jan-Oct ’20.
