India: Vizag Steel hikes rebar offer for the 3rd time in Dec ’20

Vizag Steel has increased rebar prices further by INR 1,000/t ($14) w.e.f today, trade sources reported to SteelMint. The current rebar (12 mm) offer is reported at around INR 50,100-50,300/t ex-Chennai, excluding GST. The offers have increased by INR 6,500 in total since the beginning of Dec ’20. The company’s output of long steel products stood at 1.88 mn t in Jan-Oct ’20.
