Vietnam’s domestic steelmaker- Formosa Ha Tinh (FHS) is planning to increase its domestic HRC offers sharply for Feb deliveries. Revised offers for skin pass HRC (SAE 1006) stands in the range of $655-658/t CIF basis, SteelMint learned from its trade channels. The company has crude steelmaking capacity of 7 mn t pa. The sharp rise in imported HRC offers and strong downstream demand in Vietnam has lifted domestic HRC prices.
