Structure manufacturers in secondary market are offering material at same prices as it was on Wednesday (yesterday). Stable price of raw material is prime reason for this.
MSP Gold, a well known Structure brand in Central India kept offers unchanged from a week’s long time.
Similarly, Mahamaya Ispat which is one of the leading Structure manufactures in Central India has maintained its offers at the same level. Owing to slow buying in the market, the plant is also producing material in limited quantity.
BSPL, a Durgapur based Structure brand hold its offers same as on Wednesday. While, local Structure offers in Durgapur fell by INR 200-250/MT in last 2 days. Mills attempted to secure more orders owing to slow demand. Therefore, local Structure manufacturers are providing some cash discount on it.
In Mumbai, Ghasiram & Vaishnav Ispat sold material at same level from more than a week’s time. Structure manufacturers are not reducing their prices as demand is average in the market.
Sources said that SAIL might increase its Structural offers to about INR 500/MT for March, 2014. Presently, offer for Angle 100 mm is stand at around INR 40,500/MT (including ED, advance payment, Ex-Durgapur).
