China’s leading steel maker HBIS Group has ordered the first Energion DRI plant of 600,000 t pa capacity, Danieli informed through a release. The plant is to be installed at HBIS facility in Hebei province and is expected to commence operations by the end of CY ’21. HBIS is the second largest steel producer in China with a capacity of approximately 45 mn t pa crude steel production.
