Taiwan’s leading steel company, China Steel Corporation has made a sharp in its steel prices by NTD 1,200-1,500/ for Jan ’21 sales with recovery in global economy and steel demand post-pandemic. Price for hot rolled steel plate has been raised by NTD 1,500/t. Taiwan’s domestic economy has benefited from the release of public projects, the return of investment from Taiwanese companies and the mobilization of funds, as well as the continued strength of the export market, company mentioned in its press release.
