Mandi Gobindgarh based mills have booked about 2,000 t of billet from the Raigarh based plants, sources reported SteelMint. The deals have been concluded at around INR 35,300/t (equivalent to INR 38,500/t FoR Mandi Gobindgarh), on advance payment. Meanwhile, the spot trades of billet in Mandi are taking place at around INR 39,000/t FoR. Presently, freight cost from Raigarh to Mandi is about INR 3,200/t, according to suppliers.
