PSU steel major SAIL held a pig iron auction from its Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP)-Odisha for 7,300 t material on 11 Dec’20. The entire allocated quantity was booked at a weighted average price of 30,680/t ( ex-work) – recording a rise of INR 720/t compared to the previous auction held by RSP on 05 Dec’20. SAIL pig iron auctions are garnering active response in all plants.
