Imported scrap prices in India have increased further in recent bookings made, sources have reported to SteelMint. A major Indian steel mill has booked containerised scrap early this week, comprising of MS shredded in slots of 3,000 t at $400/t CFR Mundra and 2,000 t at $408/t CFR Vizag basis and 2,000 t of busheling bundle at $420/t CFR Vizag level. Low scrap availability kept the imported scrap prices on higher side and offers have increased further by $5.
