India: Secondary rebar prices fall by up to INR 400/t ($5)

Indian secondary rebar prices fell by INR 400/t d-o-d in Durgapur market due to dull demand. Manufacturers adjusted their offers as per semi-finished price movement. In other regions, rebar prices remained range-bound. In southern India (Chennai), prices moved up by INR 300/t due to consistent strengthening of scrap prices, sources told SteelMint.
