South African RB2 coal portside price falls by INR 500/t w-o-w ex-Gangavaram

In a confirmed deal, 3,000 t of South African RB2 coal (5500 kcal/kg NAR) has been sold at INR 5,500/t ex-Gangavaram (exclusive of cess and GST), down by INR 500/t w-o-w basis. Rise in thermal coal inventory to 17.4 mn t at Indian ports and 3.1 mn t at Gangavaram port has pulled down the portside RB2 prices. Few traders are also offering at INR 5,450/t ex-Gangavaram.
