Indian merchant chrome ore miner, OMC, to conduct auction for 33,100t chrome ore of regular grades (more than 40% Cr2O3) on 10th Dec 2020. The base price is yet to be declared, however, market expectation is that it should be reduced by 10% or more in line with the down-trending ferro chrome. Ferro chrome prices reduced by INR 3,000/t in Nov ’20.
