Mid-scale rolling mills in Raipur, Chhattisgarh have decreased rebar offers by INR 500/t d-o-d. The current offer for 10-25mm stands at INR 37,000/t. The prices have dropped owing to limited demand and declining raw material prices along with considerable offers from the Raigarh market which is hovering around INR 36,200/t for 10-25 mm size. Trade participants reported to SteelMint that buying inquiries have weakened despite a fall in offers by INR 300-400/t.
