Govt owned steel mill – SAIL conducted an auction for 2,000 t (one rake) basic grade pig iron today. Entire material was booked at INR 29,050/t exw, sources have reported to SteelMint. Bids declined by INR 970/t ($13) compared to the previous auction conducted on 19 Nov’20.
