Iron Pellet manufacturers located at Raipur (Chhattisgarh) have lowered offers further for the current week, after holding it from the beginning of June at Rs 8,300-8,400/MT.
Current Pellet offers:
Rs 7,800/MT (ex works Raipur), down by Rs 500/MT
According to the manufacturer, “Pellet users are preferring to buy the raw material from producers based in the state of Odisha due to cheaper offers and falling prices.
Our sales volume has been impacted and demand has weakened as Pellet is being purchased in huge quantities from Odisha.
Hence, we decided to offer Pellet at prices lower by Rs 500/MT this week, which is equal to landed cost (delivered to plant) of Pellet at Raipur, purchased from Odisha”.
