India: Finished long steel imports increase by 11.5% in Oct’20

Indian finished long steel imports increased by 11.5% to 18,871 t in Oct’20 as against 16,926 t in Sep’20. On a yearly comparison, it increased by 6.6% in Oct’20 as against 17,700 t in Oct’19. Wire rod accounted for around 54% of total finished long steel imports. China stood as the top exporter with about 6,128 t, up by 9% against 5,617 t in Sep’20.
