Today, the billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) saw a drop of RMB 10, against yesterday. The billet transactions were weak. However, finished steel prices are stable. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,580/t ($544/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
