Japan: Nippon Steel restarts blast furnace at Kimitsu Works

Japan’s largest steelmaker, Nippon Steel has restarted one blast furnace in the Kimitsu area of East Japan Works, yesterday (24 Nov’20) in response to demand recovery in steelmaking sectors, especially in automobiles. The blast furnace will resume operations after a gap of about five months, according to Japan Metal Daily.
