In a confirmed deal, 6,000 t of South African RB2 coal (5500 kcal/kg NAR) has been sold INR 5,100/t ex-Gangavaram while at Krishnapatnam port the same are assessed at INR 5,300-5,400/t. Prices are exclusive of cess and GST. The South African API4 index continues to rally amid supply concerns and is trending at $72.1/t for Dec’20 (up by $2/t w-o-w basis).
