Limited transactions in semi-finished and finished steel have kept domestic melting scrap prices stable day on day in most of the major markets. In few locations of western and northern regions, prices increased by up to INR 200/t. Current trade reference price for HMS (80:20) stands at INR 26,500/t Jalna, INR 25,700/t Chennai (DAP).
