Today, the billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) witnessed a rise of RMB 20. The billet transactions noted were moderated, and finished steel prices are in synergy with the billet prices. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,600/t ($546/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
