Turkish imported scrap prices have shot up considerably by around $10/t in a deal concluded in last two days. A couple of deals have been concluded from Baltic region in the range of $327-329/t basis for HMS (80:20), sources have reported to SteelMint. SteelMint’s assessment for HMS (80:20) for USA origin now stands at $330/t, up by $23/t w-o-w.
