Central India: Re-rollers hold rebar sale offers on lower margins

Few central India based mid-sized rebar manufacturers, in yesterday’s meeting, have decided to hold their sales till 21 Nov’20 (Saturday) to improve conversion spread from billet to rebar. Currently, the spread for 10-25 mm is hovering at INR 2,000/t compared to required conversion spread of INR 3,000-3,500/t, SteelMint learnt from trade channels.
