Global iron ore and pellet export shipments dip 4.8% on month in Oct’20

Seaborne iron ore export shipments (including pellets) by five major countries fell by 4.8% m-o-m to 120.3 mn t in Oct’20 against 126.1 mn t in the previous month, according to the data gathered by SteelMint. These countries account for over 90% of the total global trade. Shipments from Australia increased to 76.81 mn t, however, shipments from Brazil and South Africa witnessed a decline.
