According to the data by Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), passenger vehicles (PV) wholesale stood at 3, 10,294 units in Oct’20, up 14% y-o-y against 2, 71,737 units in the year-ago period. Meanwhile, PV retail sales reported 9% dip, y-o-y at 2, 49,860 units in Oct’20. However, Oct wholesale numbers show marked improvement across segments owing to good festive demand.
