Directorate of Mines & Geology (DMG) of Goa in its 24th e-auction received bids for only 1.1 mn t (36.9%) iron ore out of the total 3 mn t put to auction, as per reports. The material put to auction consisted of fines, lumps, and ROM and comprises of low-grade with the highest grade being offered of Fe 58%.
