Sponge iron trades remained limited today. The major producers in Raipur held offers on account of healthy orders in hand & rising pellet prices amid expected rebound in sponge prices. Today, only a couple of local plants have offered P-DRI at INR 22,300/t exw, while about 1,000 t deals were reported from Raigarh based plants at INR 22,200-300/t FoR Raipur. One of the major Raipur based sponge producers reported no availability and is not likely to offer for the coming few days.
